Hanging on the wall is a row of five matted and framed vertically oriented photographs, hung relatively close to the ceiling, evenly spaced horizontally. The photographs, with predominately cool colors and apparent use of flash, show various interior settings that appear to be inside corners of commercial passenger airplanes or their bathrooms. Within each photo, a single octopus or squid is draped over some element of the interior such as a bathroom faucet. The wood-paneled wall is made from vertical slats of yellow-brown-stained wood with visible grain. The image shows a single wall parallel to the picture plane.

A pink-brown octopus is draped over the counter of an airplane bathroom. The bulk of the animal's body is out of view, but we can see long tentacles hanging over the edge of the counter and over a built in toilet paper dispenser. The countertop is made of a faux-stone speckled with black and dark gray flecks, and a piece of metal sink hardware is visible in the top right corner of the photograph. The photo is lit harshly, as if by a flash in the dark. the two tentacles hanging down are covered in circular suction cups and terminate in dark, worm-like strands clinging to the wall.

A grayish squid is draped over the edge of what looks like a bathroom sink. A smudged metal faucet is set into a grey-tan tiled wall. The white basin into which the squid's tentacles are splayed is white and reflective, with a wide metal drain cover partially visible at the bottom of the frame. From a droplet of water hanging from the faucet and some wetness on the drain, it appears the faucet was recently running. The small squid is laid out on the edge of the basin with its cone-shaped body curved into an arc.

A printed banner is folded up into a long line, as if it was unrolled on the floor parallel to the cabinets. The scene is lit by a single fluorescent office light inset into a yellowed drop ceiling. The unrolled folded banner lays between a wood-paneled peninsula and an alcove for a missing refrigerator paneled with the same wood. The overall impression is surprisingly contrary to the expected look of a place where contemporary art is exhibited: dimly lit, covered in brown and tan toned surfaces, the fact that it's set up as a kitchen. The artwork is similarly surprising relative to traditional artworks: a piece of printed matter installed folded up on the floor.

An ambiguous image that appears to depict a printed banner laid out flat on a green sports field emblazoned with white lines. Shot from above, both the field and banner are parallel to the picture plane and the banner, the same proportion of rectangle as the photograph itself, is positioned in the center. The so-called "banner" is recognizable as such only upon zooming in and seeing the grommets running along its edges. Printed on the banner is a grayscale image that is hard to read: the surface of the banner itself and the surface of whatever is printed on it: some kind of rough surface, maybe a sidewalk, with a corner of grass visible in its top right. Some kind of letters are scrawled in the surface but are illegible.
